Nadia brings experience from her time at YouthBuild, where she served as a supportive service specialist, all while progressing through her first year in the School Social Work Master’s program! 👩🎓💼 This year, she looks to complete her practicum work and has chosen District 87 for her placement. Why? Because of the exceptional work and dedication she’s seen from our District and Social Work teams. 🙌
Nadia is all set to dive in, eager to learn and practice as much as she can from our school’s systems, especially the social work department. She’s ready to embrace challenges, grow, and most importantly, contribute positively to the students.
Some fun facts: She's a proud Cat Mommy to two fur babies, Loki and Leah. She is also deeply passionate about advocacy, empowerment, and mental health awareness. She also takes time out to enjoy indulging in fun or adventurous activities, self-care, and service.
