We are excited to welcome Grace Bartlett to the D87 and BHS family! Grace will be teaching our Raiders in US History, Government, and Sociology this year. 🇺🇸👩🏫
Coming to us from teaching Civics at Belleville West High School, Grace is making the move to D87, a decision fueled by our district's dedication to student care. From her very first interaction, the welcoming spirit of D87 has already made a lasting impression, and she's eager to continue her growth as an educator within our D87 family. 🌟
A proud alum of ISU class of 2021, Grace earned her master's from SIU in 2023. This year she is looking forward to educating and creating lasting connections with her students and co-workers. Plus, she's especially excited to dive back into teaching US History! 📚🎓
In her free time, Grace enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling (she is pictured from a recent trip to Yellowstone!). She also has 2 cats, Fish and Tiny, who are just as excited as she is to be settling into the D87 area. 🐱🐱
