👟🏀 We are excited to welcome Charlie Shempf to our D87 family and the Knights' team as a PE teacher at BJHS! Charlie has previously taught PE at Colene Hoose in Unit 5, and was an administrator at the IESA, and now he is joining us in D87! Teaching PE isn't just a job for Charlie—it brings together his love for sports, his commitment to exercise, and his dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of children. His enthusiasm for working in an environment where he can be himself, participate in lifelong learning, and witness the growth and success of his students, is what makes him an exceptional addition to BJHS. Charlie is geared up to serve as a role model at BJHS, not only in the gym but also on the field and the court as a coach for baseball and basketball. He aims to inspire and guide our students towards teamwork, respect, and personal development. 🚴‍♂️🏈In his free time, Charlie doesn't slow down. Whether he's biking, golfing, playing pickleball, traveling, hosting gatherings, enjoying college football, or cheering for St. Louis sports teams, he's always on the move. 🎉 Welcome to the team, Charlie, we are excited to have you join the D87 family!
